Premium Document Storage

Most customers store their Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney ("LPA") and any associated letters of wishes in our safe-custody. The main benefits of keeping these documents with us are:

• Your documents are kept securely in individual tamper-evident plastic envelopes, which are stored in very high quality, 2-hour rated, fire-resistant cabinets
• We check all documents before committing them to long-term storage to make sure that they have been signed and witnessed correctly, otherwise they would be worthless
• We have very robust procedures for tracking your documents in and out of our hands, and for making sure that we only ever release them to people who are properly entitled to have them, which normally means you, your executors and your attorneys
• We keep a digital backup of all your Gray's Group documents, so that they can easily be reproduced or updated as necessary
• We provide you with paper copies of your documents for you to keep as a reference and aide memoire

More Benefits of Premium Storage

• With our Premium Storage service, you are entitled to update your Wills and LPA documents whenever you need to without charge
• As long as they are over 18, your children and grandchildren*, as individuals or couples if they have partners or spouses, can have a comprehensive HomeWill free of charge. That represents a useful financial saving for them and it gets them started on the right foot as early as possible
• Your parents, again individuals or couples, can also take advantage of a comprehensive HomeWill free of charge*. This provides an easy opportunity for parents to address their potential Inheritance Tax liabilities, which may have become much more significant since they made their last Wills

* This offer is subject to Gray's Group having a consultant in the area where they live. Alternatively, they can come to our offices.

If you opt for our Premium Storage service, then you have two choices for payment: you can pay us either £39 per year on an annual standing order or a one-off payment of £249 for life. If you opt for the annual payment initially then you can always upgrade to Lifetime Storage when you feel the time is right.
