Who are Gray's Group?
Joan Gray has worked in the personal financial services sector for over thirty years, having started with Lloyds Bank at eighteen. By thirty she had achieved a senior position in the prestigious West End Private Banking centre in London.
Having completed the then industry standard ACII qualifications, now recognised by the Department for Education as degree-equivalent, she moved into private practice in 1992 setting up an Independent Financial Adviser firm specialising in family investment and protection issues including willwriting and associated services. She has subsequently achieved both the Financial Planning Certificate and the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate qualifications, both of which representing the pinnacle of professional qualifications, and she also gained the title of Chartered Insurance Practitioner. Joan continues to strive for and acquire the highest professional qualifications.
In addition to finding the time to write for a number of local and national newspapers, including the Daily Telegraph, Joan has also raised a family and is currently part way through an Open University degree course in psychology.
Joan’s overriding philosophy has always been that the customer really is king and that without customers she has no business. She now looks forward to continuing her professional development and continuing to provide the highest standards of customer care as principal of Gray’s Group.
